Cancellation Policy
Mountain Adventures is strict with enforcing its cancellation policy. All payments are conditionally non-refundable. We highly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance to protect your investment. Please read the following carefully.

  • Trips must be secured by deposit or full payment. Full payment is due 8 weeks before the trip start date unless otherwise specified. Bookings made less than 8 weeks before the start date require full payment to secure.
  • All cancellations must be received in writing by email.
  • If notice is received less than 8 weeks before the start date, no refunds will be issued.
  • If you cancel more than 8 weeks before the start date, your deposit is forfeited, but the following options may apply:
    • You may transfer your trip to a later date within the same season, subject to availability.
    • If the trip is resold at full price, you may receive a refund minus an administrative fee.
    • You may use 100% of your deposit toward a trip with Mountain Adventures the following season, provided it is used within one year.

No refunds are provided for cancellations due to injury, illness, or personal reasons, nor for guests who do not show up, show up late, leave early, or lack adequate ability or fitness.

Minimum and Maximum Attendance
Mountain Adventures may cancel trips that do not meet minimum attendance requirements. If seats are filled at a discounted rate, this does not entitle guests who paid the full price to a discount.

Force Majeure
If a trip or season is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control (“Force Majeure”), no refunds will be issued. Force Majeure events include, but are not limited to, lack of snow, government lockdowns, natural disasters, pandemics, war, highway or road closures, and any other unforeseeable and uncontrollable events. Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended for these scenarios.
