About Linus

Linus was born in Stockholm, Sweden, where he spent his early years playing sports and dreaming of bigger adventures. After high school, he set off on a solo quest around the world—climbing peaks, getting immersed in remote mountain ranges, and exploring new places. His travels took him to Chile, where he dove into outdoor education and leadership training while exploring the vast Northern Patagonian Ice Cap.

The mountains of British Columbia eventually called, leading Linus to Revelstoke to pursue ski guiding. He earned his Adventure Studies Diploma at Thompson Rivers University and went on to complete his Ski Guide certification with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides.

These days, Linus splits his time between heli-ski guiding, ski touring, and teaching avalanche safety courses. When he’s not out in the backcountry, you’ll find him in Kamloops with his wife Natalie and their son Finn, enjoying mountain biking, hiking, and canoeing. For Linus, guiding is about following his passion—climbing and skiing across the globe, and helping others do the same.
